Last week I had to bake lots of brownies for a Christmas cookie sale. I found a large size recipe, baked them in a baker's half sheet pan (double the size of a 9 x 13 pan), and used my rotary ruler and a big pizza cutter to cut them. Perfect, even, bars! I've never been able to do that before, so I'm passing on the idea to anyone else who can use it in the Christmas baking frenzy.

This made me laugh! Great idea, Kay!
Clever you! I've used a pizza cutter to cut all kinds of food, but never thought to use my quilt cutting tools. Now. to remember this tip when I need to.
Oh wow...now I have to make some brownies =-)Great tip!
How timely! I am making lemon bars for a cookie exchange next week and was going to make 2 batches. I am going to rethink the pan and the way I cut the bars thanks to this post. Thank you.
You're fast becoming my tip connoisseur!
we are nothing if not inventive. Great idea
Fantastic! I have also been told that crafters put two old blades together in the rotary cutter and use that to cut paper. Though I have never tried this I have it stored in the back of my mind for a rainy day! Thanks again:)
Too funny and very cool!
My kids used to think I was such a weirdo for cutting pizza slices with scissors...I should have been using a rotary cutter!
Amazing idea! I use my pizza cutter foe everything. With two your kids, it comes in handy.
Clever. I may have to bake some bar cookies now!
I would have never thought of that! What a great idea!
super idea I never would have thought of that!!
Great idea! Now, I wonder if I can remember it the next time I make a slice.....which might be 2011 if I can get away with it!
By the way, me word verification below is 'berip'.... is that a new word for burp? Sounds like one of my brothers!
