The July/August Interpret This! photo. I'm excited about this one--so much to choose from.
The Hoffman is gone--mailed and delivered.
My studio is fairly neat, fabric put away, floor swept, thread returned to the containers.
The binding on the big blue basket quilt is half finished.
We've had fabulous weather, no thunderstorms, for almost a week.
I've lost eleven pounds, and went to Chico's to buy a smaller size traveler's pants for my up-coming trip.
And if you're wondering about the title of the post, it's a family joke. Just think what positive adjective sounds a bit like Gouda, imagine my pronunciation-challenged husband asking someone in the Netherlands if they had any "Gouda" cheese, and I bet you can figure it out.
Happy July, everyone.

I don't get the cheese reference...
In the netherlands, Gouda is pronounced Gow-da.
(One of my favorite cheeses too, btw.)
Glad you think this photo will be fun to work from! Have fun on your trip- I have very fond memories of time I spent in Belgium and the Netherlands, years ago.
Congratulations on all of the tic-marks crossing items off of your to-do list!!! If I could check off even one big one, I would be a happy camper.
Glad you were able to get your Hoffman done and in the mail. Good luck!! I'm hoping to get to CO in August, so maybe I'll get to see it in person at its debut!!
Sounds like life is cruising along in a good way. Gouda luck with your Hoffman and WAY TO GO with the 11 pounds. Have fun at Chico's.
Eleven pounds is great! I didn't think you needed to lose any weight; nor did I know you were trying--not like me telling the whole world.
I hope you have a gouda trip!
Congratulations on the weight loss. The inspiration image is very pretty: I love any picture with architecture, and the reflective water is a nice bonus.
The Hoffman is gone, eh? Does it feel good to have taken that on again this year? 11 lbs. Was that really necessary? You seem so tiny to me but I what do we all know in this virtual world so please allow me to congratulate you.
Photo is really neat. Lots of ideas here I should think. It'll be exciting to see what all the talented ladies come up with.
I agree, great photo. Have fun on your trip!
It is all Gouda! Great photo to work with, 11 pounds, neat studio, Hoffman mailed, and gouda weather!
