Are We Sick of This Yet?

This is about as good as it's going to get. I gave up fighting the gold on the flower and added more, including gold as the backing to the plate/circle. There will be more gold thread accents, probably as part of the quilting. I'm starting the assembly now, hoping that everything will fit together.

This is so original! I expect the Hoffman people to be blown away.
I love how it feels entirely Japanese, but in a different way than the original fabric.

Wow! What an entirely clever idea--very original, which is sure to grab the judges. Here's hoping it goes together in a snap. I am diggin' it.

Gosh this is amazing! You do such lovely work. The fabrics are so pretty.

I can't believe I lost you. Dern bookmarks and feeds. :(

But now I found you and your lovely work.

Happy Day! *karendianne.

I like the gold additions. Since the entire piece has such a watery feel, the gold is like sunshine sparkling on the surface.
