Smackdown Quilt Completed

Here we are--my version of I Spy a Four Patch, by Bonnie Hunter.   It was good discipline for me to sit down and finish a quilt in an assigned time; often I diddle and dither and wander away to do something else.  I hope that some child likes this, and I'm sure Debra's quilting will improve it.  Here's a link to Debra's blog where you can see her Smackdown quilt.

I agree; something very satisfying about a quick quilt!

I have some Paddington Bear fabric that might work for the backing so when the top arrives, I'll be ready to quilt it and send it to its new home.

Oh this is perfect and I don't believe it. You mean to tell me you dither and wander, too? Over here I call that pacing around. I guess it could have all sorts of names, ha? Well either way, it has to feel super. I've never started and finished like that so congrats!

Good for you for finishing the top all in one go. I get distracted as well so I know what you mean. You have such a good eye for putting those colors and prints together. Really nice results.
