Quilt of Valor

After I posted this quilt a few weeks ago, I almost took the lazy way and let it go as it was, but I decided to take Nellie's advice of adding a narrow white border and then a blue border. I'm very glad I did; it improves both problems, and I am now much happier with the finished product. Thanks, Nellie, and everyone who commented.

WOW! What a difference that made. I was very nice before but it's stunning now.

I'm happy my suggestion sent you in this direction. Over-dyeing with tea would've been nice, but a much different quilt would've resulted. You all know that adage, "A mistake repeated becomes a design element". The white that had bothered you now sparkles throughout this quilt. Your border is just the right width to complement those bright white spots in the center.
